“Of all the organisations I could have chosen to support with the sales of Louisa’s Lament, Birkbeck was the only choice for me.  As a graduate of Birkbeck I know how important their work is in removing the barriers many face to entering and completing Higher Education. 

Their Hardship Support Fund is crucial part of that because getting into Higher Education is easy when compared to staying the course when your circumstances change due to illness, loss of employment or domestic issues.
